NEWS ETCH 557 FGS 20093--- Fountain Solution Concentrate
Description:

            NEWS ETCH 557 FGS is a low VOC neutral fountain solution developed for quality four color process printing on high speed newspaper presses. NEWS ETCH 557 FGR is a particularly well suited for daily newspaper, inserts, publications and commercial forms. NEWS ETCH 557 FGS contains no petroleum distillates, no EPA priority pollutants, no chromates or heavy metals and SARA Title Ⅲ section 313 listed components.

Directions
        It is recommended that the starting concentration for NEWS ETCH 557 FGS be adjusted to read a conductivity of 1000-1200 mmhos over the tap water used. In most cases, this will be about 2 ounces per gallon. It may be necessary to make an upward or downward adjustment in order to achieve optimumperformance.

Description:
          NEWS ETCH 505 CM is a low VOC neutral fountain solution developed for quality four color processing printing on high speed newspaper presses. NEWS ETCH 505 CM is particularly well suited for daily newspapers, inserts, publications and commercial forms. NEWS ETCH 505 TW contains no petroleum distillates, no EPA priority pollutants, no hromates or heavy metals. It will provide extremely fast, clean and sharp start ups on all conventional dampening systems on cold set commercial presses. It performs well on spray, brush and turbo dampening systems.

Directions
           It is recommended that the starting concentration for NEWS ETCH 505 TW be adjusted to read
conductivity of 1000 - 1200 mmhos over the tap water used. In most cases, this will be about 1.5 to 2 ounces per gallon. It may be necessary to make an upward or downward adjustment in order to achieve optimum performance.
 
NEWS ETCH 600
Description
          NEWS ETCH 600 offers the Ultimate in newspaper fountain solution chemistry, including faster restarts on CTP plates! It isdesigned to have a very large operating window by virtue of the large wetting system and superior surface tension reduction that allows a minimum of water to be used on press. The non-piling and non-linting components are unique to cold-web applications, and will provide significant reduction in blanket wash cycles as well as maintaining superior print quality for extended run lengths.
NEWS ETCH 600 also contains Anchor’s most effective newspaper biocide system. This new combination system provides excellent protection against bacteria and fungus growth in all types of dampening systems; conventional, brush or spray.

Directions

         Suggested concentration is 2.0 ounces per gallon (1.5%). This is the minimum level to ensure best product performance. Add the suggested range of concentrate to a clean gallon of water at press side to get the conductivity range that can be used for monitoring. This range should be 1200-1600 mmhos above the base water.

 
EMERALD JRP 2968---Acid Fountain Solution
Description
          EMERALD JRP is a complete fountain solution specially formulated to run on aqueous plates. The buffer system is matched for use in medium to hard waters. EMERALD JRP has a strong buffer system to give clean press starts and resist contamination.

Directions
          EMERALD JRP fountain solution is designed to run at 1.5 to 2.5 percent. The pH of the working solution will be between 4.1and 4.5 depending on the alkalinity of the local water. The conductivity should read approximately 720μS for each percent used over the conductivity of the water used.Adjust the dosage of EMERALD®  JRP and alcohol or substitute to obtain optimum press performance and record the pH and conductivity as targets for your quality control checks.
 
EMERALD SOFT-1 20153 Acid Fountain Solution
Description
          EMERALD SOFT I fountain solution is a complete fountain solution specially formulated to run on aqueous plates. It becomes an effective two-part alcohol elimination system when used in conjunction with an alcohol replacement product.

Adjust the dosage of EMERALD SOFT I and alcohol substitute to obtain optimum press performance.
 
EMERALD PREMIUM PPF 20227 One-step Acid Fountain Solution
Description
          EMERALD PREMIUM PPF is a one-step, acid fountain solution product for use in soft to medium-hard water. This product is designed for use on continuous dampening systems without alcohol on both sheetfed and web presses. Compatible with all types of plates, papers, and inks; this product contains extra phosphates for fast starts and restarts.

The pH of the working solution will be between 4.5and 5.0, depending upon the alkalinity of the local water supply. The conductivity should read approximately 380μS per percent over the conductivity of the water used.  The conductivity and pH of the working solution should be verified to ensure that the blender is working properly.

A new anticorrosion system package is also standard for this product. This system is designed with the most demanding requirements in mind.

Description
          EMERALD PREMIUM QRKW fountain solution was formulated to provide fast, clean restarts on thermal CTP plates. The strong buffer system helps prevent staining and toning on these plates
and can be used in all but the hardest water.

Directions

Conductivity should read about 450 mmhos above the water. To verify the pH and conductivity of the press-ready solution, prepare a control sample using local water at the desired dosage. Record the pH and conductivity to serve as your target numbers on press. Adjust the dosage to obtain optimum press
